Habanos S.A. News: Habanos S.A. Presents Its New Línea of Habanos Añejados

In the middle of December, Habanos S.A. announced the newest addition to the Habanos portfolio, and this addition was with the Añejados. This new addition is not a brand, but almost a vitola extension to existing brands. What makes the announcement very interesting and special is that these are not new Habanos, but rather five year old Habanos. It is being offered for two brands in two vitolas, and the Habanos are the Montecristo Churchills Añejados and the Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados.

The Habanos Añejados were rolled 5 years ago, some more, and they have been aging in perfect conditions in Habana, Cuba since then. They were rolled with the intention of allowing the Habanos to age in the correct conditions, and therefore improve greatly. What makes these Habanos even more special is that they are not regular production vitolas, but new vitolas to the brand.

The Habanos are being presented in labelled boxes, and are being completed with double rings. The internal notices will have the story of Añejados, and the viola information as well. The bottom of the box will have the date when the Habanos was created, and it will also have a unique stamp, a Revisado stamp, that shows the box has been checked. All the boxes are being sent opened, as they were inspected by Habanos S.A. before shipping.
